Three Local Restaurants to Try in Norwalk

The start of the new year hasn’t provided much relief to local restaurants as they continue to adapt to social distancing guidelines and the COVID-19 pandemic. As small businesses continue to go out of business, it’s more important to support them than ever. Luckily, restaurants have incorporated safety measures that make it easy to continue to support them and keep their customers healthy.

One of our favorite places is Porto’s Bakery . Porto’s is a huge restaurant with Cuban sandwiches, pastries, and coffee, and it is seriously worth every penny. The line constantly stretches into the sidewalk because it’s so popular—it’s easy to see why. 

They have discontinued their takeout service in favor of contactless ordering, payment, and curbside pickup to ensure the safety of their customers. They also offer nationwide shipping of bake-at-home goods that you can make yourself. There are endless options for enjoying this delicious restaurant from the comfort of your apartment. 

Pizzamania

Pizzamania is another one of our favorite restaurants, especially for a movie night at home with roommates. They have the best pizza in town, using only the freshest ingredients available. Not only are they known as a staple of the community, but they have a delicious cheese pizza. 

With options for takeout and curbside pickup, you can easily take advantage of a large pizza to go. They also have other food options, including sandwiches, salads, meatball platters, and wing trays. You won’t run out of things to try and enjoy from this pizza joint!

Wood Ranch BBQ & Grill

Another excellent restaurant is the award-winning Wood Ranch BBQ & Grill , which serves a menu of high-quality savory dishes like American baby back pork ribs, steaks and burgers, fresh fish and chicken, salads, and homemade desserts. You can satisfy your sweet tooth and your salty cravings at the same time and same place.
